The Integrative approach to counselling is a blend of theories and interventions, an approach to suit the individual needs of the client. I integrate Attachment Theories, leading to the exploration of how our development is profoundly affected by our earliest interactions with care givers, experiences influenced by aspects of both Nature and Nurture.

This approach guides the client to the understanding of a person’s relational development, the building of those meaningful relationships and how those reflect the client's inner narrative, and personal view of the surrounding social aspects.

An experience with a narcissist has left you doubting your own sanity, do you want to find your voice? I can support you in your journey to healing from an abusive relationship, discard shame and explore attachment styles. To reach out to counselling at first may feel uncomfortable, you are unsure of what to say and its OK to feel this way, you are here to prioritise yourself. You are willing to take risks and learn new skills, to discover new things about yourself.

Couples counselling isn't about discovering who is right and who is wrong, it's about finding solutions and learning new skills. Couples counselling is about accepting differences, exploring intimacy issues, improving communication to meet an exchange of emotions and behaviours.

As your therapist I do not take sides, I do not declare anyone a winner. Instead, I will be focusing on your dynamics as a couple. I offer you therapeutic work on an open-ended basis within a safe space to explore your experiences, respecting each other as equals, to give yourself the credit you deserve. I value challenges, debates and creative thinking in the counselling room.

Each session last between 50 and 60mns depending on individual and couple sessional work you wish to attend, if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
